At Laser 24, our commitment to precision engineering goes far beyond laser cutting. To continually enhance the quality, efficiency and services we offer, we have invested in a suite of advanced machinery. These secondary operations allow us to deliver fully finished parts with exceptional accuracy—streamlining production for our customers and reducing the need for multiple subcontractors. Below is an overview of the key secondary processes we now provide in house.
To ensure high precision folded components, we operate a Bystronic Expert 320 tonne press brake, capable of folding parts up to 3 metres long. This machine is equipped with LAMS technology, providing unmatched accuracy and consistency across every bend.
Complimenting this is our 80 tonne press brake, paired with an integrated robotic arm. This automated setup increases efficiency and allows for unmanned, continuous operations, further improving turnaround times and enabling complex or repetitive folding tasks to be completed with reliability and consistency.
Our in house Timesaver machine enables us to grain materials to a high, uniform finish while simultaneously removing burrs. By handling these finishing processes internally, we ensure improved edge quality, enhanced safety, and a consistently professional appearance on all parts.
We offer precise countersinking to prepare components for flush fitting screws and fasteners. This service ensures improved assembly quality and clean, professional results in the final product.
Our latest investment is a high capacity tapping machine capable of tapping holes from M3 to M24. This wide range allows us to support diverse applications across industries, while delivering fast, accurate threaded holes that meet stringent engineering requirements.
