What does it mean to be ISO 9001:2015 accredited?
ISO 9001 is a standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system. It helps businesses and organisations to be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction.
By implementing system ISO 9001:2015, this ensures businesses such as Laser 24 are focusing on the quality of their product and service. An ISO 9001:2015 accreditations means Laser 24 are thinking of our customers first, making sure we consistently meet our customers’ needs and exceed their expectations.
The ISO 9001:2015 accreditation allows us to work in a more efficient way as all our processes are aligned and understood by everyone in the business.
How did Laser 24 become ISO 9001:2015 compliant?
Our decision to work towards the ISO 9001:2015 accreditation demonstrates our ongoing commitment to continually improving our laser cutting and press braking services, as well as the high standard of service we currently provide.
To become ISO 9001:2015 compliant, our Laser 24 HQ based in Wickford, Essex underwent an extensive company-wide audit, including an assessment of every point of service provided to our customers. Thanks to our state of the art equipment and the Laser 24 team, our 24 hour manufacturing and production processes were officially given the ISO stamp of approval in August 2019.
What does being ISO 9001:2015 compliant mean for our customers?
As one of the most rigorous and well-regarded standards of the world, ISO 9001:2015 tokens Laser 24 with the world-class recognition it deserves, as we continue to set the high bar of quality in the laser cutting industry. This not only adds to our company goals already in place, but offers further assurance to our customers of the excellence and efficiency we deliver with every laser cutting project.

CE Marking in Execution Class 4
Our CE Marking certification represents our Execution Class 4 level conformity with the European Economic Area’s health, safety and environmental protection standards for all construction products. This accreditation demonstrates that our laser cutting and press braking capabilities are of world-class standard.
What does it mean to be CE Marking in Execution Class 4?
The letters ‘CE’ appear on many products that are traded on the single market in the European Economic Area (EEA). The CE marking is required for many products. It shows the manufacturer has checked that these products meet EU safety, health or environmental requirements. The marking is an indicator of a product’s compliance with EU legislation and show it is allowed to be moved freely in the European market.
For fabricated structural steelwork, CE marking became mandatory in the EU on 1 July 2014.
Steelwork was divided into four categories for certification:
- Execution Class 1 – Farm Buildings
- Execution Class 2 – Buildings
- Execution Class 3 – Bridges
- Execution Class 4 – Special structures
Laser 24 have been awarded CE Marking in Execution Class 4, which means the FPC certification is to Execution class 4 which is the highest achievable level. We are incredibly proud of this accreditation as it demonstrates that we are able to consistently provide advanced level compliance to the CE marking required in the laser cutting industry.

What does the CE Marking in Execution Class 4 mean for our customers?
To be CE Marking in Execution Class 4, Laser 24 has a responsibility to carry out regular conformity assessments to ensure the correct standard is met. This means that we have strict quality assurance procedures in place throughout our factory managed by our dedicated team. This accreditation gives our customer reassurance rigorous standards and high quality of our laser cutting and press braking capabilities .
